Ok first, take note of the name of this blog, this blog is about wealth and finance, so we are talking soley about when to financially dump them, we are not getting into Dr. Phil shit or mommy or daddy issues. We are talking about when it becomes time to say, I can't afford to be in this relationship anymore or it is going to be a lot more profitable to leave.... that being said....
I'll mix up he/she to not be sexists....
- He buys a really nice car before he owns property, dump him, he will eventually use your children's college money at the casino. I realize not everyone can drive a beater, which sucks, but if if his car is at least half his annual salary, he's done.
- If she is spending an excessive amount of money on hair/make up/and very very particularly nails, dump her. People who can get their nails done weekly either have ungodly money or are terrible financial decision makers.
- If he pays his friends bills, he's done. Exceptions: friend has a disability, is a returning vet, some justifiable extinuaiting circumstance. No couch surfers that can work but are too lazy.
- She goes out to eat EVERY DAY. Unless you are getting free meals at the restaurant because she works there, she's done. Eating out daily will likely make you fat too which will lead to issues for another blog.
- He buys new clothes weekly. I'm even tempted to say monthly, but if you include sox and underwear maybe you need to go monthly. Anyway, if the guy can't stay happy with his wardrobe he again will burn your income and on a side note has poor fashion sense.
- He or she has a gambling problem... he/she is done.
- She is always diving into get rich quick schemes. She's done.
- He is pressuring you to marry, and you are not ready. The only thing that costs more than a wedding is a divorce.
- He or she is not familiar with how birth control or ovulation works... the last thing you need if you are broke is an accidental pregnancy, you either gotta go abstinent or dump them.
So there's a few to get you started, what did I miss?
